Cast Glass Birds

David released his first series of one of a kind mixed media sculptures at the 36th Annual Sculpture in the Park Show in 2019.

These sculptures consist of cast glass birds perched atop unique pieces of Texas mesquite burl.  Once the wood was cut, sanded, and sealed, the birds were carefully attached to the wood and the entire piece was the attached to Uba Tuba granite.
